An unforgettable place

During the school holidays, my family went to Auckland, New Zealand to spent a week of our holiday there. When i took my first step out of the airport, a flesh gust of sea breeze greeted us and we felt rejuvenated after the long flight of ten hours. We hailed for a taxi before going to our next destination, the hotel. As it was already midnight, we settled down and rest.
Morning came and shortly after breakfast, a small coach waited for us at the entrance of the hotel to take us to our first destination, the Waitomo Caves. It was a long ride however when we reached there we knew the ride was worth it. Inside the caves there were worms called ARACHNOCAMPA LUMINONA ( spider-like light-producing larva). As inside the cave, there is a river thus a boat is used to transport tourists into the cave which allow the tourists to have a close interraction with the worms. As the worms are glowing, there was a stunning view inside the cave. However, tourists are not allow to make noises or take photographs inside the cave, this is to protect the weak worms.
It was a wonderlaful experience for me to be exposed to such natural habitats and i wish to visit more of these places in the future.

Something that took place in school

"Never judge a book by its cover" that is what i learn from a shocking event today which happened in my mother tongue class.
John ( a fake name) had been a quiet guy ever since i knew him. He never speak more than three sentances in class thus our classmates and even the teachers treated him as invisible. He got rather fair skin, cold and unblinking eyes dwarfed by a set of gold-rimmed glasses. He did not have any friends and so my friends and i thought that he was just shy. Today, what happened in class changed my opinions towards him. During the chinese lesson our teacher suggested that we will have spelling on the new characters we just learnt and if you are not able to write it out, you had to write it a hundred times. John was told to write out a certain character however he did not remember how to write it. In anger, he threw the maker onto the ground. My jaws dropped in shock and eyes boggled at what i saw. My teacher was too stunned for words and was transfixed to the ground. There was an eerie silence in the class when the bell rang......
Our teacher simply packed her books before ambling out of the class. This is based on a true story happening in my class just with a little changes in words.

Something unusual that happened today

Today when i had experienced one of the most horrifying events i had encountered. It all happened like this......
I boarded the bus number 197 with several friends, we were all chatting while we boarded the double-deck bus. We settled down as soon as we found an available seat. Just in front of us was a middle-aged man, a weather-beaten face and scruffy clothes were all i saw. Plenty of rude remarks flashed through my mind but i managed to keep them tight in my mouth. Suddenly, he started mumbling to himself loudly in a language that i did not understand. Then he whirled around and faced us. Pointing a finger at us, he continued his mumble. A few students behind us was giggling all the while and some even took out their handphones to record down the peculiar yet hilarious incident. However, my friends and i were too shocked to utter a word. Time passed like eternity and finally i saw the overweight man with the huge paunch stood up and alightes the bus. Instantly, the bus broke into laughters and i muttered a prayer of thank before heaving a sigh of relief.
This is really what happened today! Believe it or not you may be able to meet that man on bus one day.
